Buffalo Machinery is one of the fastest growing machine tool manufacturing companies in Taiwan. It was founded in 1979. It is the first machine tool manufacturing company in Taiwan to announce the use of patented SMT ("Smart Machining Technology") technology for 5-axis and high-speed machining. In 2017, Buffalo Machinery developed a series of high-end machine tools with the exclusive patented AXILE technology. They cover the high-end market of high-tech 3- and 5-axis machining centers, with an emphasis on technology and performance at very competitive prices. There are no compromises in the manufacturing quality of the AXILE stands. Some key components are of European or German origin (e.g. spindle, table assembly - Kessler, Schaeffler Group...).

Buffalo Machinery has installed a total of more than 400 AXILE G-series machines in the EU. Of these, 200 were sold to Germany. This means that they meet the most stringent market requirements.
